    Is this right??? :

All, (I think), aftermarket A/C system draw interior cabin air only, unlike the OEM A/C systems wich are more sophysticated, if you will, considering they have both: ''A/C''(outside air) and ''REC'' (cabin air).

If so, is it that much of a downside to not draw outside air?? Why?

Can the interior air get ''unpure''????

Does your car have AC? Why would you want it?

Cause its hot in the summer, but thats not too bad, it is really when its hot and humid, thats bad. The humidity, you get all disgusting and stuff, and girls dont want to ride in your car with no A/C cause their hair curl when its humid. A/C = Confort

Exactly. No car with A/C = Unhappy Woman. And we all know what that means.:(

I would rather have the windows open no matter what the temp. My wife can stay home. So much of the under hood and under dash is taken up bythe AC stuff. I hate the site of it. if it is really that hot I can drive my Truck with AC. I have never really minded the heat. Stays cold way to long up here anyway. Enjoy the HEAT:TU:

Yeah, I know Dave, I agree too. Its just that this summer I wanted to do some long trips with the GS, and for about 2 years now, weve been havin some extremely wet & humid summers that are very uncomfortable. Anyway, my first point was to know if drawing interior air only is a downside or make no difference ....

Factory A/C units cool more or better using the cabin air than they do the outside air. Nothing wrong with aftermarket A/C you can always roll the window down.
