There isn't really a picture of it but... you'll get the idea! lol http://www.canadatrader.com/result/detailinfo.aspx?ID=1148338&pgno=8
Yeah there is a gremlin sitting wasting away out behind my great aunt's place! She bought it brand new and is just letting it sit and rust away!
Years ago at Norwalk we saw a 12-second Vega (on nitrous). There was also a tubbed out Chevette with a huge engine. It was a work in progress; still in primer - the guy was just testing it. We figured the wheelbase was too small, and we were right. He was all over the place and had to shutdown half way down the track, and coasted to the 12s.
I've seen similar things at Street Machine Nationals over the years. There was a couple of pro-street Chevettes and even a full pro-street Geo Metro. I'll have to see if I can dig up pics of them.
There's a bright orange gremlin that runs at Union Grove, and Ive seen him at Byron too I think. If I remember correctly he was hitting 8's or 9's. Most guys were laughing at it till it smoked 'em!!!
Back in the day the Gremlin was realitivly new they were popular racecars, they were a natural for a small block Chevy. Dave Berry
There is a local guy that races a GremlinX around here... I like Gremlins.. Somebody say Chevettes? What about this one?
The orange Gremlin from Byron... is in this months CarCraft...it participated in a wheelie contest at Byron and went ALL 4 OFF. Theres a killer pic of it standing up with the back tires off the ground. Crazy stuff man...fish
That metro was at the Nationals in Bowling Green last year. I think it ran a 10.8. Not positive though.
