. . . and you get to the tech trailer and have to fill out the cards. You dutifully fill it out, and then I have to sort through them all and arrange them in order. Then, at that point, I can't read yer writing because you naturally have poor penmanship (Here's a shout out to you!:beer ) or because you had too much hops and barley the night before. On top of that, your last name is from some Eastern European country that has 3 consonants in a row!:spank:

So please consider this my annual reminder to write clearly. If your last name is difficult or people often put an accent at the wrong place when speaking, feel free to let me know how it should be. (Future apologies to Jim Mino, as I ask him if it's "mee-noh" or "my-noh" every year, and for the life of me I can't remember!:( )

If your car is extra-special in some way and REAL (not a clone), please let me know so I can talk about it. While I like 1972 GSXs, I want to be sure about talking about a really cool and rare car; I don't want to say something is 1 of 44 when it's a clone (with all due respect to clones). If there's more trivia about your car, such as you bought it used in 1971 or you escaped the fuzz in it, jot that info down if you want me to talk about it.

And isn't it amazing when someone owns a super-cool car but gets the hp rating wrong? Yet that happens! So get your car info straight please, ya dig? I don't want to read "270hp" for a 1972 Heavy Chevy with a 350 like I saw yesterday at a show. I think we all know they went to Net hp in '72, right? So, dearest Chevy Owner (and everybody else), please don't confuse me and make me question myself or your car's integrity.

I just want smooth sailing up in the tower, and violent horsepower on the tarmac, so any little thing you can do to make my job easier will pay off in more enjoyment for everyone.:bglasses:

And Dave H: Think of anything smart-arse yet?

I told Rusty on the Olds site that he can join me if he breaks down.

But you should be getting my name right - remember what this thread was about?:Dou:

I also should be bringing some chimichurri sauce, as I had promised last year. I don't know what you have planned, but you can just take it home if it doesn't mesh well with your cuisine.
