I DID! Got the choke issue solved last night. Took the car 17 miles to my buddies house to help remove a hood off a car and then meandered this way and that back to my house. Since it was mommy's day to work, my 7 year old son was with me. On the way to my buddies house, at Gratiot and Joy, I lit'em up. The boy liked it. He said it was fast and like we were racing. So, upon turning onto Irwin (which runs N/S along Selfridge Airbase) I did the same thing. Again, smiles from the boy. Came home, readjusted the timing, turned on the water for the outside spigot and then washed the car. Of course, nothing like deciding to drop the gas tank at 8:30 pm. Every time i hit a bump or went around a corner, thee was a noise coming from the back of the car. drove me nuts. well, jacked up the car, everything under there was tight so i banged on the half full tank. yep, something inside the tank. ended up having to pull the tank. there was about 18" piece of plastic fuel line in there. And yes, there was roughly 13 gallons of gas in the tank. ALL fixed now! Time for more seat time tomorrow.:TU:

Took the '74 GTO out for a test run with my son. New clutch feels great, new gear and posi I just installed feels much better. Then we got Ron's '71 GTO out and that was successful as well. Should be a great summer.

We took our 66 out yesterday. I spent the majority of the day installing door panels and seat belts. My wife's aunt and g'ma are coming into town today. Gonna show off the car this afternoon. Still have the back seat to upholster, the headliner to install & need black seat belts but it's time to show off the Winter's work to the in-laws.

That minor problem was solved later that day (and also, while I had to crawl under the dash  , changed the battery for the clock)

Purchased my 2014 licence plate tag today, and took the car cover off after the long winter sleep.
I fired it up after checking the fluid levels, and it sounded good - gonna check the tire pressures tomorrow and maybe go for a lttle toot. :3gears:
Cruise nights start early May, and the 2014 show schedules are posted - oh happy days !! :beer
