Rather than starting another thread, I figured I'd keep my updates here. The car has been running extremely well. An absolute joy every time I drive it. I have begun collecting parts for the rebuild. I have the following thus far: -'72 block, bored .030" over -'72 heads (ported, w/ stage 1 valves) -reconditioned connecting rods, balanced & outfitted with ARP hardware -T/A 112 cam (99% sure I'm going to sell this and go with the 212 cam) -430 nodular crank shaft (I will probably NOT use this crank, seeing as though I can get a re manufactured crank w/ bearings for a price comparable to having a machine shop get this one ready) Next on the purchase list will be a set of forged pistons. In the meantime, the preventive maintenance will soon include brakes & shock replacement.
