????? Don't know what caused this. Maybe a garage fire. It was posted by one of the Olds parts sharks in Lansing. Kinda looks like a car we destroed at a high school outing back in the 60's. Auctioned off the first few hits then charged $.25 per swing with a sledgehammer. Car was a 41 Studebaker I bought from a junkyard for $25, including prepaid pickup after we were done. Think we made $50 on that deal.
What a waste. It looks to be in just about as good of shape as that Superbird on ebay that was up to like 16k. p Regarding that SB, I guess someone is feeling ambitious and has a Charger 500 body to mate with the SB VIN tag. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...3921&item=2463882906&sspagename=STRK:MEBWA:IT
Sacrilege. The person(s) responsible should be forced to drive nothing but Kia's the rest of their days, and have to wear polyester during the summer.
Hey, I've seen that car before.................It was in that Stefina's guy's yard next to a red and white shed............Man are those cat's tough on Oldsmobiles!!!!!
Wow. That's one of the in-famous Daytona 'birds that had been rotting in this guy's yards for decades! His house is right next to Daytona Airport. It's truly a shame for someone to let any car deteriorate to this stage. I can always hear the owner now....." Nope. Ain't fer sale. I knows what it's worth. I'm restoring it one day...."
Looks like it was the in the middle of a riot!! Where did you get that picture anyway? That car has Michigan plates on it I think??? -Kevin
That picture was posted on the Oldsmobile site by a parts dealer in Lansing. Not sure of the source. Looks like it was in a garage fire to me.
