Ouch! I have a complete 1969 Skylark roof. Probably add some class to the car.

This car would be so cool and unique if restored back to the original configuration of red paint, red interior and a Sandalwood vinyl top. I know where there is a red '70 Judge sitting in a barn and it has a back vinyl top and black interior and I think this eBay car would be much more attractive. We've got a '70 Judge project car here and it's Atoll Blue (same a Buick Diplomat Blue), black vinyl top, and a black bench seat interior and I'd rather have this red eBay car.

That eBay car was originally a manual transmission with manual steering, manual drum brakes, and no A/C, in central Alabama. We refer to a car like that as a "rolling health spa" because driving it in the summer definitely would be workout and make a guy sweat.

That same roof was used on '68-'72 Pontiac A-boys so a donor shouldn't be too tough to find.

    Spend 200 K to make 100 K back.

If one could perform most of the work themselves, probably would be a good investment. I look at it like I look at a GSX- it's cool and very rare.. However, I like to drive them, NOT show them... For much less, I could get a nice 70 LeMans and make a very accurate clone, down to the data tag. Then drive it everywhere in the nice weather, and if it's stolen, damaged, or blows up, it's all good..

If it was a Buick it would be spend $200k to make $50k back (or less) and then have to endure the internet keyboard warriors telling you it’s overpriced at $50k and the Buick hobby has been ruined by greed from people asking $50k for a restored Buick and they’ve been priced out of the hobby since they sold theirs for $12,500 in 1992. :)

Is it for sale? Lol! I've been going back and forth on a '69 Judge, mostly original drivetrain project. Initally asking peak '22 project car money. Getting close on a price, keeps bringing up parts that they want to empty out of the garage but that I don't need. Certainly not at that price, anyways.

I wonder what that car looked like the last time it was on the street.

Jim- really like the Sierra Mist on the 70 Judges! I missed out on a Mayfair Maize 69 Judge back 15-20 years ago...
