I just need ONE 15x7 Rallye wheel. The chrome is peeling off of one of the wheels I picked up and I decided that would bug me, so I'd like to get one to replace it and use that one as the spare tire holder. Doesn't have to be perfect or even "nice" quality - I'm using these as driver wheels. The wheels can need new paint but must be round and not dented. I am restoring it anyway (minus rechroming) so, as long as the chrome still shines, even if there is some rust in the crevaces, it works for me. I found a couple on ebay but I'd rather buy from someone here. Thanks :TU:
Thanks I saw the couple on ebay but I thought I'd try my luck here first since its no rush to get it :TU: Thanks again
15 In Road wheel I got one good western wheel. No rust or marks. Black paint could use a fresh coat. Very good driver quality. 50.00 plus shipping. They are heavy but could ship by Greyhound. Thanks Gil Buickgil@aol.com
Gary; Unfortunately I won't be going to Salem. If I had the GS350 already (its on its way!) I probably would be heading out there, but since I don't and didn't know about it (Im behind the times) I won't be able to make it. Gil: Is it the 5x4.75" lug pattern that I need for my A-body or is it the 5x5 for the big body cars? How does Greyhound shipping work? It would be almost 100 dollars worst case scenario and you lived in California and I sent it UPS Thanks :TU:
Eric, Do you plan on going to Buick Performance Weekend at Englishtown NJ? I have plenty 15 X 7's and would be happy to help you out. I am located in Ocean County NJ but I don't want to get involved with shipping. Let me know if I can help.
Jake, Is that the weekend of the 3rd of September? I may be able to make it down pending whether my GS gets here and is fixed by then! Looks like Ocean County is about a 5 hour drive for me. I will let you know as the time gets closer as to whether my car will be ready for then, and if it isn't whether I'll be heading down anyway :TU: Thanks!
15 In Road wheel Eric: The wheel is the small pattern for A-body cars. Greyhould is about one third the price of UPS. You would have to pick it up at the nearest terminal. I live in Montana so it will not be quite as far. I will check next week on the cost of shipping and let you know. Thanks Gil #406-222-7586
Hey Gil, Thanks a lot :TU: Jake: Possibility of me getting down there that weekend is pretty slim. I work at a school and will most likely be working that weekend as a new project just got thrown on my desk If the deal with Gil doesn't work out I'll be in touch to arrange another date to take a trip to NJ :TU: Thanks again
15 IN Road Wheel Eric: Shipping by Greyhound is 34.85. It comes up with your city as Hempstead NY. Is that right? Let me know. Thanks Gil.
Hi Gil, Actually, HEmpstead is about 4 hours from me. I believe the nearest Greyhound station is in Glens Falls, NY but they may not actually make deliveries of goods up this far north o No:
15 IN Road Wheel Eric: I checked with Greyhound and they do have a station in Glens Falls NY. The cost for shipping to there is $32.85. Thanks Gil
Hi Gil, If I can't make it to Englishtown (I'm working a lot faster than I expected to and its a possibility now) I will be in touch with you :TU: I'd rather go with a local one so I dont even have to worry about shipping, however, if I can't get to Englishtown, I'll take yours. I'll let you know in the next couple of weeks :TU: Thanks again!
TTT Sorry Gil that I never got back to you I sort of got caught up in life. Is anyone going to Yardley's party that may have one they'd be willing to sell me? As I said in the original post, as long as there are no rust bubbles under the chrome, and the pitting is minimal (even a little rust in the corners is acceptable, they're very literally driver wheels). I can use one or two if you have them. Thanks :TU:
