Used to see those 1957 Skyliners driving in to the Ford dealer in Paducah, Ky. with the tops partially up, deck lid fully up (talk about a spoiler) and every combination of failure you could imagine. Probably the same engineers that did the push button trans control in the steering wheel of the 58 Edsel. Understand they never really knew which direction the car was going to go when they first started it and pushed a button.
Based on the public's acceptance of the styling, Backwards would be my first guess. Saw a Citation Convert on Ebay a while back, stangely enough it looked fairly good, 45 years on. I'll be gone for week, not mad, just absent (minded and otherwise)
