operating temp

    whats up guys, i am wondering whats the safe operating temperature for the buick 350. In idle and running

    about 190 is safe. anything past about 210 u should watch it

    Out here we have been having some really hot weather. 100+ my car runs about 190 in that type of weather. Cooler nights it stays at 180. Maybe I should add a radiator fan?

    Ivan 180 to 200 is fine .210 change the thermostat to a 160 . Bruce:TU: :TU:

    A 160stat wont make a difference if the radiator is too small or in poor shape. Ivan I would say for that type of heat, you are doin just fine.
