original drag radial circa 1985

Found this old picture of my 72 GS455 I used to own.

Whatis interesting is the MH Racemaster tires. These were special soft (SNS) compound radials.....the original "drag radials", despite what BF Goodrich said in a recent magazine article.
I still have them but they are not soft anymore!
