Was driving to the beach in Watch Hill Rhode Island and ran across this car. I think the seller is pretty high on the asking price but more power to him if he gets it. My quick assessment was I didnt see a lot of the normal rust issues known on these models, the paint has lost most its shine, has a few stone chips all over, the interior is buckskin, and it looks like there was some sort of aftermarket stereo in it because it had a bunch of RCA cables all wound up under the dash.

Here is what the for sale sign said in the window
    "64 Buick Skylark with 310 wildcat V8.
Only 17,800 original miles, Drives great.
Started to restore interior, has new carpet and headliner installed. Have new door panels and seat covers in box ready to installed along with many more accessories.
    $16,000 obo (401) 207-9518"

If anyone wants me to look further into this for them its only about 20 mins away so just let me know if you need help.

He's asking a steep premium for the extra low miles. I'd want those miles documented before paying anything more than 1/3 the asking price. Having to change the interior on a 17k car is a red flag to me.

I would be overjoyed to pay $5,300 for a 64 in that condition with 200,000 on the clock!
