Huge thanks to Chris P (cjp69) for sending me the lead, inspecting the car and finalizing the deal and Mike Sobotka (m sobotka) for picking it up and keeping it safe for me..

1969 GS 400 convertible bought from the nephew of the original owner. 98,000 original, documented miles. Window sticker, POP, sales form, receipts, etc, etc (TON of paperwork). Original engine rebuilt some years ago, 1 repaint and original tires. Other than wear and tear items, EVERYTHING on this car is original- top, interior, bumpers, grille, center caps, exhaust, etc, etc.. The best part- NO ROT!!!!! Everything on the car WORKS!!! Pot metal is pit free (!!!). Car is in it's original color combo- blue/black/black....

Smokey15 So old that I use AARP bolts.

Nice car. And very cool of Chris and Mike to do all they did to help the transaction go through. Bet you can't wait to get it home. Bet Mike is going to miss cruising in it 'til then. LOL! Congratulations George!
What are your plans to get it home?

Thanks!!! Mike is a close friend so if he decides to drive the h*ll out of it, he can!!! LOL.

Plans include: rebuilt tilt column, short console, sport wheel, correct repro exhaust, NOS Buick tissue dispenser and LOTS of detailing!!! I have a few NOS items to put on it... Then drive the wheels off of her.... I may send out the chrome to be replated... But, that's going to be a later time...

Holy Survivors Batman! Congrats. There can't be many well kept examples like that out there. It probably drives as good as it looks. I like the options & lack of options...has to be a very unique stepchild too.
