(1) original spare tire from my '70 Sportwagon, this is a dual whitewall, H78-14, Firestone Sup-R-Belt Deluxe Champion tire, still has the nubs and markings on the tread face - this tire has never been on the road. It does have some rust staining from sitting in the spare tire well of the wagon but the tire and wheel are in great shape. This is the 4 3/4" bolt pattern and the wheel is most likely a 14 x 6" steel wheel. $50 plus shipping although I would prefer not to ship this. Can deliver to an upcoming Buick Event. SOLD Tire is located near Albany, NY. Paypal to Buickwagon@aol.com.
Don't be afraid to ship it..at buyers expense of course... Fedex/Kinkos locations will take them as is, no wrapping or crating. Its a little more expensive than a package of the same size but not that bad.
WEll. . . .I would be very interested in the VINTAGE 1970 AIR..IF..and this is HUGE..IF, you can transfer the AIR into a non acidic, NO ALKALIDITY based governmentally controlled, anti-lead, TOTALLY VACUUM ENCLOSED container and can G U A R A N T E E 100% effective NON CROSSOVER toxic air mix at todays level of less-than-quality EPA standards. SO, we gotta deal er whut? Wheelz, Tampa Bay
The last original air offered for sale here brought out a bidding war didn't it? I say this wheel and tire were well bought.
Yes, it appears the wheel is all original, paint included. And looking at the flange, it has not been bolted onto the hub. I bought the car from a gentlemen who had just picked it up from an estate sale with 57,000 miles on the odometer. It has the indentations, etc. on the tire from the brackets that held it in place in the spare tire well. So I have no reason to believe the tire was swapped.
