Recently came across a set of Shelby valve covers. They are in very nice shape and still have the internal baffles and spark plug wire loom retainers. There is no pitting to speak of. I think they are aluminum but thought they might be magnesium. I'm having some difficulty tracking down what they belong to or what they came off of?

I did find that a company is reproducing the same valve covers for $400 (set). Some information that I did dig up points to them being available over the counter from Shelby, no necessarily from a production car.

Part # on inside reads: S7MS6582 Shelby American Inc.

If anyone has an insight as to where these came from and a ballpark figure of what I should ask, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :bglasses:

I'm 98% sure they would be aluminum. No idea of there value however. Have you tried any Shelby forums??
