My wife picked this up a couple of days ago. '22 Mustang Mach 1. Jet Fighter Gray, automatic, 3.55 gears, 1700 miles. Traded in her '20 Mustang GT.
So, for the past few days, I've been working on the new project Chevy Truck. Gave it a couple inches of suspension travel front and rear (was previously sitting on the snubbers on all 4 corners). In order to do that, I had to cut the tailpipes off, as the center of the differential would crash into them with any travel, and put some turn-downs on it before the rear end. It has a single 3" glass pack muffler that split into 2, 2.25" tail pipes. It was kinda loud before, but super loud now. Meh... I don't care, though. Sometime in the future, I'll get a complete new exhaust system. Fixed some other wonky crap in the rear suspension, put new rear shocks on it, and torqued the U-bolt nuts to speck. They were really loose! The new wheels and tires I ordered came in last Friday, and I finally got them on it tonight. So far, no rubbing either!
Drove one of those last year for a few days while on vacation in Hawaii, same color, same wheels, it was an auto also.....definitely on my list of things to have.
Got half canvas doors and a trail cover today. I couldn't be happier! We'll be at Jeep Beach Daytona representing. This Rain Gear cover is top shelf, I don't think I've seen anything better.
