Best 2 out of 3! For PS

That's a Friday, I'll need to take as vacation, and if you do PS against PS and FAST against FAST, the would be way cool, except I might need a 2 car trailer, but sounds good! RV

    Yes Donny,
one day we do not really know how many p/s cars will show up.
This race in June 2005 will tell us what we might need to plan for in 2006 we hope for a real good turn out.
Copo Pete will be in charge of the p/s side of things.

Count me in. No interest in a ladder type format even if only 8 cars show up. Too much spread in the F/S times. Might as well give Pete or Jimmy the prize now. :3gears:

  6. John Brown

John Brown On permanant vacation !!

Think you can get Miller and crew to put on a Michigan style Bar-B-Que?

That alone could double the turn out.

    Hi ya Tom :TU:

    Where do we sign!!!

I like Johns idea about paying extra for another day. When it takes 2 days to get there and another 2 days to get back, its kind of risky to do all that for 1 day unless there is a next day rain date. even so, I am greedy and want to race all the time anyhow!!! :3gears: Its your race, and we are glad to have another one in the summer, but give it some thought about some of your long distance travelers. Thanks Jim

I have a friday/saturday committment "sometime" in June '05. I'll show up and be in the SA chum if it's not that weekend.

I'll also volunteer as a "local" to help Tommy with BBQ or other tasks. I will bring a couple 5 gal. kegs of homemade hop infused barley water if there would be an appropriate time to share it.....

For those of you looking to make the trip worthwhile, the very next day (June 18) is the annual Olds Homecoming held in Lansing, just a hop, skip, and a burn-out away from Martin.

Non-Olds are not welcome to show, but if you like to look and don't mind being seen chatting with the likes of Dave H., we'd love to have you attend. This event typically draws several hundred Olds of every decade, and since an Olds man manages the GM History Center's collection, they never fail to bring an impressive collection of special cars.

I will be there. I think it conflicts with the Eyes on Design show that the Challenger T/A is invited to so I will sluff that off on someone to do so I can go smell some burning bias ply.

Mark, My Challenger was invited there last year. (eye`s on design) It was very nice, it does get a tad boring over there after a few hours. None the less, it`s was an honor.

US 131 is such a great track, I have no doubt that many cars will run their best ever! For those of you who have not been there, you need to try it. In my humble opinion, it is BETTER than NORWALK. :beer
