Have you contacted Cole? He's on this site and in Canada...and always seems to have nice interior pieces.
I'm not sure of quality or fitment but the parts place and other vendors sell reproductions. Ones for a 68-69 Chevelle might work as well. Hard to find good ones that the sun hasn't damaged.
Got to watch exterior finish on some reproductions smooth or "pebbled" finish will make a difference if being judged. I have no such worry though lol mine might have bullet holes
Per Duane: He has NEVER seen a 1972, with original eggshells, in the textured style. Only SOME 1971's.
All the 72 original cars I have checked over had smooth ones. As far as I know only some 71 cars came with them. That is why, after doing my research, I opted to only reproduce the smooth style corners, as they were used on the majority of the 68-72 cars. Duane
I've had numerous sets of these from Olds and Buick A-body cars....'69-72. I've also spent plenty of time crawling over and through hundreds of salvage yard A-body cars from this era. Not once have I seen any with textured "eggshells"/corner pieces.
Patton, It might even have been a Plant thing for all we know. What we see outside Phila and the North East are Framingham Mass cars, unless it was a Stage 1, GSX, or a car equipped with a GSX optional part. All those come from Flint. The home plant for your area in Texas would have been totally different from what we have here, so you would probably see different parts on the cars. Duane
I have a set from The Parts Place I don't need, and would sell. I ordered a set, then found my originals. These are the textured version.
Those are made of vacuum formed ABS plastic. The textured originals we are talking about look totally different, Duane
