I am looking to opt in the correct package tray into my 70 GS. My interior is white and my carpet is black. I assume my package tray Should be black. When I bought the car it came with a grey fabric in place. It is more like felt or something and not jute. What should I be looking to buy? On posts and through online searches I see package trays for sale but they are cardboard with a vinyl piece sewn into the cardboard. They have a jute as well. Is this what the cars came with or should the entire tray area be vinyl and I am missing something when I search? Thanks.

All the package trays have vinyl at the forward edge. I would think black would be right. The mesh package trays are for the premium interiors.

How do I know if I had a premium interior without a buildsheet. I doubt I do since I have hand crank windows and no rear defroster. What would the normal package tray be? Literally black cardboard with that has a piece of vinyl that is closest to the rear seat? Or does the car board have some typerson of material on it? Is there anything else I need except the cardepart and jute? I read somewhere about end caps but that may have been a different A body.

Carpet on kick panels and basketweve seat material gets mesh package tray, no one makes a package tray for the Buick by the way you get a chevelle part that has to be trimmed its a pita BTW, if there is anyone that makes a Buick specific piece I've yet to find it I know legendary and pui aren't

I have basket weave seat and carpet on the kick panels. So I guess it is premium then. I will get black mesh. What is the mesh anyways. I thought it was cardoard. Is the mesh a fabric or something On the cardboard?

Everyou mesh package tray I see havery porous spots for rear speakers. My car doesn'the have them. Would a non rear speaker car still have a package tray that has accommodations for the rear speakers?

Yes. Even if the car didn't have rear speakers, the holes were there

Thanks. I looked up opgi, they have package tray end trim. Did that come with our cars too? Looks like plastic caps that look like they go on the back of the tray near the window.

Thanks. I think I am covered now. Only on other thing popped in my head and that is during install, does the tray go underneath the trim in the picture from the above post where the eggshells are tied into. Or it just line up with the back trim by the rear window.
