I am changing the arm rests on my doors to the longer ones with the paddle handles, Due to the nice panels I found. So I have been looking and
Don All of the one I have seen are the ones with the screw in the shaft, I have the one with the C-clip and have the slits on the outer shaft on the handle. Is that the way they came or did someone change them at sometime?

Hi Don, your door handle's guts are set for those other handles; easy fix to change to the ones with the screw. 3 bolts and a couple clips and they are changed out. I can check if I have a pair, but I'm thinking the ones left in my parts bin have broken springs. Should be easy to find some though.

    Ted,
Thanks, I was just looking at my Parts manual and it lookes easy enough to change them out. I also could just cut the slits on the handle shank with a sliting saw on my Bridgeport just as easy. The caps just "snap in" over the screw heads right?
