I was thinking about painting the fiberglass bumpers for the Corvette project. I have 35 year old knowledge of painting. I was going to get a quart of 131S fill and sand lacquer primer and then shoot some classic white lauquer in my driveway with my siphon gun like it was 1985 all over again. Am I crazy?
Do it. There is a phobia about painting cars and doing body work. Whatever you finish with won't be the worst looking paint and body work at the car show. I promise you that. I just painted a hood for my DD with thinned out rustoleum and it looks good...
