i am looking to upgrade my paint gun to repaint/reclear my car this winter,just wondering how many different hvlp recommendations i can get! i will probably spend in the $250.00 range
If your shooting the car in the garage dont waste your money on a big buck gun . $100 guns shoot just aswell as our $400 guns out of the booth
I painted my '64 in the garage this spring and was amazed how well the paint laid on for me. I did base then clear with a Devilbiss Finishline gun. I think I had about 24 lbs. of air to the gun to achieve about 10 psi at the tip. HVLP guns are great. Very little overspray/paint waste.
