    skitzofrenic66 What's an Import?

hiya guys. ive not done much body work aside from a few odd things but im in desperate need of stripping the paint off the front end of my car. its hard to tell but the paint is in dire need of removal cause its rediculous how bad it is.
ANYWAYS, i have an electric sander with a 7'' disk but im not seeing much paint sanded with it. i know its not gonna fully strip the paint off i just need it scuffed for a quick redo paint job. im not exactly sure what grit i used off hand but what im trying to ask is what is the method you guys use to sand down these beasts? what would be the proper way to go about this task/ im not really interested in using a chemical stripper. thnx!

Start striping with 36 grit..if you hit bondo "and I know you will" switch over to 24 grit and let her rip

    Chem Stripper

Hi, newb to cars and was wondering how hard the chem stripper is to use and does it work good. Last summer I used a sanding block and 320 to sand it smooth before getting it painted. Got painted really crappy so I am at it again and would like not to have to sand it by hand again. Any "easy" ways to take paint off.
