Ready to paint my 69 Wildcat. Most stainless (around wheels, etc) not going back on. Original idea was satin black, however paint shop is advising against it saying it will spot, be hard to keep clean and difficult to repair. Is the best bet here to do base/clear or single urethane? I will likely go with a medium silver or grey. If anyone has done one of these boats in a color that is recommended - love to hear it. Thanks for any advise.
Hey, if you want black, who is the paint shop to tell you you shouldn't? I don't hear GN owners complaining too much.
