    So here's the deal . . .

I have a set of 4 Cragar SS rims that are in terrible shape. Never ceases that old chrome will peel!!! So I'm thinking of painting them--- Rustoleum Hammered Finish Black, with Gold Hammered Finish Spokes. At this point I really don't wanna spend any money on them, since my 'lark won't be restored for quite a long time.

Would the wheels look good on a flat black car with gold GSX stripes?

    Lemme know the opinions!!!!

I've never liked rims that were painted to match the car... except for a VERY few rare occassions where I thought it looked nice.
If you are going to paint them, I'd vote for painting them either all black, or all silver... or maybe even silver around the outside with black on the spokes and center part.
Either way.. I wouldn't put ANY gold on them. Too bling-bling for my tastes!
    :Do No:

But that's just my personal opinion. It's worth exactly what you paid for it.

Personally I don't think Cragars would look that good painted. If you are going to do something, I think powerder coating would look best.
