Painting a car black

    Jason,i have the yellow colored ones are those the same?they say microfiber on them and they are really soft.

    I blow dry mine......really, after I wash it I plug my blow pipe into the air hose and blow the water off.....I go around the moldings and such first then the rest, I do use a shamie, (firemans friend is the ones I use) but most of the water I blow off..........As far as painting one black, I don't think its any harder to do, I prep all my work the same either way, you can paint one black or white and I'll find bad body work, but the thing with black is taking care off it, that needs to be your main deal when making a choice because when its black you will spend ALL your time keeping it clean in everyway! "but" man it looks good. :TU:

    George...Those are probably the same ones I have. I cant get over how soft they are. Thyre so much better than the old bath towels I used to use.

    Mechacode took my idea! Make a team project out of it. You tell him what to do, and keep an eye on the quality. He'll learn what it takes and you'll see that the job is done right.

    Color? Black with a red interior is a classic combination. I also love the Charcoal or Graphite with a red interior look also.
