I replaced the entire parking brake system before I put the body back on the frame. All seems to operate fine; however, the cable is rubbing on the bottom of the floor pan in two locations. It looks like it was doing that in the past; since, there is a groove in the pan bottom in approximately that location. Should I just put a peice of rubber hose around those areas to keep it from wearing through? Or, do I have something wrong. I can't see how anything is wrong, because there are specific attachment points that cannot change.

    Thanks.

Most I have seen have over time cut a groove in the bottom of the pans.
