Thanks for the kind words Bill, .... likewise. I truly enjoy sharing our ideas with each other. We don't seem to have any problem racking up an hour at a time on the phone. Larry
Pictures of the Mangustas (I'm a HUGE Pantera guy but the "hoods" on those are soooooo cool) and a Grifo, please, if you're allowed to do such...otherwise they don't exist ....Italian designed cars with American musclecar hearts, what could be cooler?
Congratulations on your promotion, Larry. I would be like a kid with the world's most active 'sweet tooth' in that shop. And here I'm finding it difficult to get my '69 Z/28RS into paint jail.
I'll snap a few photos of every project as we go along. Though if anyone wants to follow the shops projects, ... we are pretty good about staying up to speed on facebook. Since you mentioned the Mangusta's hatches, ... I am including a photo of the completed car when I was gassing it up a month ago while on my way to deliver it along with one of 4 Countachs, back to the owners house with a coworker (after completing a few tweaks to it). It was a bit nerve wracking as snow flurries were in the forecast that afternoon. This is the car that took "Best Of Show" at the 2017 Concourso Italiano in California. Its refreshing to know that the owner of these cars has no problem with actually driving these. Larry
Very cool, Larry. I bet those two probably caused a few accidents from people snapping their necks to look at them drive by. Super cool they get driven, and even better you get to drive them.
Thanks Lucas, ..... I don't know if you guys had noticed but if you look in the photo of the Mangusta, there is no side rear view mirror (on either side). That in itself can make the drive a bit nerve racking, .... it seems to add to the excitement. Larry
The '78 Lamborghini LP400 (Countach) just came out of the paint booth. Yellow Mangusta #2 now has hatch glass. Mangusta #3 is coming along. The '67 ISO Grifo GL350 is taking on serious metal fabrication. Nailhead motivated Hot Rod is being staged to get just the right "look" before set in motion. '69 Camaro Road Race project is nearing final fit before moving to the upper floor for final assembly. So, ...... everything does exist. Larry
