For the BPG Fall Gathering we thought it would be a good idea to have an auction, (still working on the quest auctioneer). We are going to go through our NOS parts and see what we can donate. I have both Turbo and GS parts. I have also asked for a donation from one of the guys that are reproducing a new part for the GS's. If anyone has anything that they would be willing to chip in I would be willing to pay shipping cost to get it here. We also have a used but repairable 72 grille being donated. Lynn is getting a few items not car related to auction off. I think that this would be a good way to raise money for the BPG. They can use it as they see fit. ALL WE NEED NOW IS AN AUCTIONEER!! COME ON YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE JUST SAY YES!! ( i am sure that the donations would just pour in if people knew who you were) Paul
Paul, I am not much of an auctioneer, but will see what I can do, I will also check to see what parts I can donate to the cause. I talked to Cole and we will be getting some back issues of the "Buildsheet". I am working on the banner, BPG memberships to raffle, etc. and will get back to you within a few days. I am sure we will get everything. Duane PS. I am also going to bring a few pieces to exhibit, including a beautiful 69 GS grill that was repaired, and some repaired passenger side inner fenders. It will show everyone what can be done with original parts, instead of spending huge amounts of money for NOS pieces.
