thanks Dean that is one very nice mirror but I want a 70 tri shield as the car it is going on is a 70 GS 455 I have access to a NOS 71 72 like yours I just want a tri shield and I know it is not going to be easy to find one as they are getting harder and harder to find but maybe I will find one before my car gets back from paint Anyone out there have one they could bear to sell to me ????

I didnt I saw a lot of pass side mirrors for sale but none with the tri shield and as for seeing them I saw a bunch on cars but I think I would have had my a$$ kicked if I had my screw driver out hahaha I enjoyed the nats and took a lot of pics of the show cars but I did not find a mirror anywhere for sale I did however buy a nice remote trishield drivers side mirror but no pass side to be had and I just cant believe how hard it has been to find one but I refuse to give up hope on finding one out there somewhere anyone out there know anyone dealing in parts that may have one???
I have one I think I just might have what you need. My Buick parts database says I should have 1 NOS right side tri-shield mirror in box. I will check and take some pictures if you want. We both know how rare this is (especially still in box), so if you're interested, send me an offer. BTW, I have owned Buick for the past 30 years and have collected alot of parts. I lost $40k worth in a garage fire 4 years ago, but I still have most of the "good stuff" . I will start posting what I have when I get more time. I've lost interest the the Buicks, so I might make some one a good package deal on parts.

That Stage 1 distributor on Evil-bay last week will bring them all out of the woodwork. 1966 Wildcat centerlinks were like that mirror until someone came off a stash of them.....inital e-bay prices were over $350.00. Now you can get them for $100.Lets hope that happens soon with your mirrror.....or that the people DIE with them and they turn up in estate sales. thanks thanks bill Dont get me wrong I am sure someone will pay 800.00 and that is OK with them and might even be a great price but for me I am a little guy and dont have the $$$$$ to put into the high end parts and lets face it NOS stuff is not around all that much anymore so HLohio WILL be able to sell it for his price and maybe more but not to me
I have always wanted one of those as well. If you find two or more could you please let me know? Another option is we could split the cost of the $800 one & then each one of us can use it for six months out of the year. :grin:
