After a few years of discussing it, i decided to send the race car up to Paul for paint and body work. We went back and forth on the color for the car and he knocked it out of the park on this custom made color. Can't thank him enough. Aweeome job. Can't wait to get all the chrome trim back on it and ready to race again. Before and after pictures.

Looks great. I'm not sure I'll ever recognize it now though. It was white for so many years. Lol

Thanks Denny! This is such a transformation of "the white car". I'm glad we went with something other than white, even after you suggested a pearl white. This is almost the complete opposite direction, nearly black in the shade but really pops with red pearl in the sun. Although I went through nearly 8 sprayouts coming up with the color, I think in the end it was well worth it. "Death By Red" as the paint jobber coined it is awesome.
Another couple of days and the car will be finished. Then Denny can have fun putting all that trim back on the car! I think that's going to really make the car stand out. Going Fast with Class. Can't wait to see it out on the track later this year.

Trust me, we had that discussion and we both agreed that they couldnt be the same color. He is actually going to put them beside each other this weekend to show the difference.

The contrast between the dark colored paint and the stainless/chrome trim is going to be awesome!

    Very nice color choice imo!
