As the title says, I'm looking for some photos of the frame pad installs for a 455 swap. I've poured over a bunch of the build threads and rarely do I see the location of the motor mounts/frame pads on the frame rails. I've got the motor "in" but it feels like It is too far forward on the frame. I will attach some photos of where I'm at thus far.

I would really like to keep heat and A/C, as I have seen others do it and who doesn't want some creature comforts while going fast?!?! Thanks in advance!

Give me till the weekend and I will have some pics for you where mine are mounted.

Good pics too, no motor in the way, had to salvage it out , because my 455 Regal burned up in a garage fire at the beginning of the year, those frame pads are the last items I'm salvaging of the car.

To be honest none of the holes in the frame are reused to put in the frame pads.

here's what I told another BBB Regal swapper awhile back

I had done a BBB swap in a 84 Ttype years ago. I do remember one hole on the drivers side working. I think the drivers side top front. Used all the brackets/ ac, ps from the v6. I sure do miss that car.

Here's a few photos I took of where the frame pads/stands are on my Regal frame .

I will take a few more before I remove them, and lightly paint over them , to show the "Negative Footprint" where they once were, may even high light the drilled holes.

Here's a pic I got off the web of all the frame pad mounting holes in the G-Body frame, Olds 307 and Diesel 350, Chevy Small Block, and Buick 231 V-6.

Use it to help compare where I located mine.

Thanks for the great photos! Did you have heat and AC in yours? Mine seem to be sitting a little too far forward at the moment, looks like i've got more work to do.

I did have the heater/ac box in when I first installed the 455 , it was a tight , very tight fit on the passenger side valve cover.

    Here's a pic after I first installed the 455..

And one after a few months of driving after it was assembled and installed.
