Jim Weise, I know that you are not one to pat yourself on the back, but if you get a chance would you post a few photos of the GS you just finished and delivered to Trace Armstrong. I know a lot of us want to check it out. Thanks. :TU:

    Sure Larry,

Here are a few, and I need to finish that section of my website up, just as soon as it slows down a little here..

I did not take a whole lot of pictures of it right when it was finished, I kinda take it for granted when you see it every day, but wish I had now that it is home with him in Florida.

I will get a chance to take some good pics outside of it later this spring, as he is going to ship the car back up here in late May, since he is going on the Power Tour with it starting June 5, and it starts in Wisconsin, and ends near his home in Florida.

Here are the few I have of it, finished under the hood, and one ground level overall pic, to show how we maniuplated the ride height with the big tires and wheels, to make it look more stock. It has 16" wheels on it, with low profile tires, and we wanted to create a stock appearance with the fender/tire distances.

Very, very nice looking job Jim.
The hinges & latch are restored /plated as the batch you're working on this winter?

Correct Steve, although yet another one of my platers has went under due to excessive government regulation.. He was my gold cad guy.. I have a meeting with a new shop early this week.

My black oxide/phoshate/zinc guys are a bigger outfit, so I hope they can hang in there..

Working to complete that run of small parts in the next 30 days.

    Jim,

What were the tire/wheel size on this car? You had given me a rather lengthy explanation prior to the board going down but it's gone now. Backspacing etc? You had also posted more pic's at that point but again, the board was acting up at the time.

I will also post some of my GV install pic's tomorrow in the juice section. I was happy to hear you were impressed!! I have not had the opportunity to drive mine yet.
