It was a GREAT meet ! I was surprised to see all the non Buick cars . Again , A Great event. Thanks to those who worked and put this event together Bill
Thanks for pic's Bill. I was a few cars back from the 350 rail in the lanes once and thank he ran a 9.99 on that run but not sure. That's a cool ride.
the air was just right for the first pass with the dragster. I had the slower pulley, does 10.2's, on the s/charger and it went 9.88 @ 133. 20/20 hindsight I should have left the faster pulley on it. then the air changed, went 9.97 and 9.91. watching the burnouts, the engine was making that chassis twist and moan and groan and not go straight. it left the line hard and no 6" wheelies and I could hear the engine just pull all the way. john was happy with the way it ran. just a little more work to make it get into the 8's.
Congrats to all our winners. Our big Quick 16 winner was Dom Lamorte with Rob Giroux as runner up. Rob won $250 in one of our gambler's race on Friday & almost doubled up on Saturday. Our other gambler winner was Denny Moore for $600!
I took just a few pictures. (I'm not much of a shutterbug) The wagons circled at the hotel Buick towing a Buick!!! Too cool! A few random shots at the track My wife's favorite car of the weekend Duane's infamous X-Camino! Jacob and Yardley throwing down Paul Massicote warming the skins in the 4 speed
