    Hey,
I Ordered a pair of forged pistons from Speed Pro. I talked to the guy and told him that i need forged pistons .30 over for my '70 buick 350. He said ok, we have them in stock, and so on. Well I got them a couple weeks ago and looks sweet. The pistons box that it came in says L2320F. That is for a olds, is that ok or no :Do No:

What part# are you looking for? The L2320f is an Olds piston and will not work in your buick 350.

I have 7 2343 pistons with capscrew rods. The 8th was damaged. They are no longer available new. I will take $100 for them but I have to check with TXGS first, he was interested in them not too long ago. Let me know if your interested, they have about 2000 miles on them and about a 100 1/4 mile runs.

I contacted the guy today, and he said I can exchange the Old's pictons for the buick ones, so thats good. But the buick 350 pistons(Forged) are only avaliable in dome, is that ok, being that the motor I am building is gonna have a blower :Brow:

The pistons you are looking for are not made any more. They stopped making them about 5 years ago.

    Piston help

    Hey,

"Hyper" pistons are decent in a street application, but I don't know about a blower.. They are pretty strong but brittle..They will NOT tolerate detonation or piston slap against the cylinder wall with the possibility of breakage..For your application I would try to stick with a forged piston..

Get a set of Wiseco's if you're going the blower route...They're forged and the lightest piston available for the Buick 350. Jim Burek at PAE Enterprises can help you out. www.paeenterprises.com

Wiseco has forged 350 pistons as I have the prototype set. It took 6 months for them to make them and now they have the know-how to make them in a short amount of time. Talk to Jim Burek at PAE Enterprises at 915-855-6009. He'll be able to tell you all the information you need.

So I guess I will get a set of TRW forged pistons. They are $60 a piece so figure around $480 for all 8, should work :Brow:
