When removing pistons from the connecting rod can you use an arbor press to press the pin off the rod or do you need to apply heat to them also when doing this. The pistons are good and i want to save them. o No: Thanks Billy.
You are better off bringing them to an automotive mach. shop that has the proper machine to do the job. And remove them properly. This way you're pistons will not get damaged. It won't cost much.
