Friday night my cousin suffered and asthma attack and was rushed to the hospital. She died 3 times in ICU and was disconnected. Her heart started beating again, so she was reconnected. I was at the hospital today when the family was told that there was no hope. I suppose from lack of oxygen to the brain. Seems the asthma medication she has taken over the years had hardened her lungs (like cement, was the example given) She would have been 42 years old later this month. Please ask God to ease the family's pain and comfort them. She will leave behind 2 beautiful daughters, husband Chet, brother Blaine, sister Vanessa, her Mom, June and Dad, Hubert. Many others will be touched by her passing. I'm sorry, but I can't remember the girls names right now. While I've lived long enough to see death in my family before, this one has really shaken me. I've cried most of the day. Perhaps because I can remember Cindy before she could walk. She's actually a "double" first cousin. Hubert is my Mom's brother, June is my Dad's sister. Below is a picture taken last September at a family/community reunion. Cindy is on the far left, her two girls in front. Her husband and brother are not pictured. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Matthew 5:4 Thank you. Just sharing this here has at least helped me.
Dwayne , Prayers shall be sent out to Cindy and family and friends and you and your family as well Dwayne .
Thank you all for your prayers! Please keep praying for the family! Cindy's life-support system was disconnected for the final time at about 6:30 this morning. It's gut-wrenching to see such heartache.
Dwayne, I'm so sorry to hear about your loss.....will add the family to the prayer list......may God grant all of you HIS peace that passes all understanding.
Dwayne, Very sorry to hear of her passing. Praying that the Lord will provide comfort for all of you.
