Please verify if these springs are installed correctly!

    Doing the rear brakes. Of course, the day I went to do them. I had the new shoes a hlaf hour away. Now I go to install tonight and forgot the exact brake spring setup. This looks right to me but I need someone to verify. At first I thought both springs went around the top stud, but there is simply no room left. There's only room, for the metal arm and one spring. The other one I have hooked over the metal arm itself. What do you think??

    Ken, that's what the drawing looks like in my 68 chassis manual, for the rear. Need to do my brakes too, haven't played with drum brakes before...

    Those spring are not fun to put on that is for sure.

    I know, I wasted money on that special spring tool and ended up using a screwdiver anyway. :error: :laugh:

    I think the blue spring goes on the outside of the wire hook.
