I know this is the Buick site but maybe someone here has a contact for me. A buddy has a 72 Lemans Covertable with a 350 2 barrel that he wants to upgrade to a 4 barrel. Anyone out there have an intake manifold and carb for this car? Thanks. Matt
Hello, at the warehouse I have over a dozen '73 & later Pontiac 4bbl intakes. All but two are for sale (go on projects). Also have several dozen Pontiac Q-jets. Wanting to make the swap the easiast, one can look for a '72 intake & go with a '68-72 Pontiac Q-jet. Usually '72 cast intakes in nice shape will bring $75 or more as they are only year for late style heat crossover & divorced choke. Am currently out of '72's usually use them on 462 ported 6X head combo's. Other choice with factory intake is to go with a '73 & later (integral choke/EGR) style intake & run a '73-75 or '76-79 Pontiac Q-jet. The '73 & later intakes are quite a bit cheaper but throttle bracket/cable mtg issues pop up. All of these cast intakes run close to 47lbs shipped.
