Actually it's a '71-72. The '69 had a wider spread on the snorkles. The '70 was the same as pictured, but it had a chrome lid and didn't have the hole for the carb vent like the one in the ad does.

 

BTW, that's a pretty decent price on it and looks to be in good shape- I'd pick it up if I were local.

 

What's it worth?

 

I usually see them priced $120-150 and often higher. Repros are around $250.

 

So i guess someone could make a little cash if you talk the guy down and find someone else who really needs it. Probably not worth the time though.

 

I left a message - we'll see if he calls back a guy in Florida. He's over 3 hours west of Ken, so I hope he'll consider shipping.

 

If he's in Poplar I'm guessing it's Poplar, WI which is about 30 minutes southeast of Duluth, or about 15 minutes outside of Superior, WI.

I had no idea if it was a good price or not, just thought it was in decent shape and some one may have been looking for one.
