does anybody have any portholes i can buy or know where to get some, like i say " it aint a buick, if it aint got portholes"
Same here Trevor :TU: (But since the Riviera was the top-of-the-bill Buick, I say it deserves 5 ventiports :bglasses: )
You can find them on ebay quite often. I love the Rivs but the Roadmaster had the 4 portholes and IMHO it is the top of the line. But I'm a little biased. Good luck.
When the Riviera first came out as a series of it's own, there was no Roadmaster anymore... And the 1985 Limited model stood above the Roadmaster, but I always loved the name Roadmaster, and they sure were the top of the Buick range in the 40's and 50's ! Wow Steve, I really like your car :TU: :TU:
sweepspear trim on a riv while I'm at it, Erik you might also enjoy seeing a riv with the classic Buick sweepspear trim
wow that's interesting....cool though:bglasses: Oh, to add to Erik's non-portholed cars - Wildcat and Centurion
here you go...... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...ry=33654&item=7933844284&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW
I'll take the side spear Always liked a 73 riv in maroon, also no halo top, while I liked my maroon blacked top riv that solid one looks much better. Don't know if I'm a fan of vinyl tops. And no railroad tie bumper :bglasses:
There just not the same Adhesive backed thats no fun. You dont have any guts if your not cutting holes in the sob. Also 59's no holes. As far as the roadmaster. I think the specials and centurys/rivis of the 50's were far better looking. The high deck lid and hood ruined the sleekness of the 54 and on.
