center section for my 3.42 1970 gs rear-cone type. the 4 spider type. Does Someone have one laying around?
to help narrow your search a little. the carrier you are looking for came in 68-70 Buick A body only and the 4 spider type was mainly in the big block cars and sportwagons. i just sold a carrier and gears a month or 2 ago and they went for 450.00 nobody reproduces the carrier and the auburn and eaton 8.2 carriers will NOT work. dont let summit or any other vendor tell you otherwise.
Silver, Could you add a name to your signature line? Anyways, if I were you, I would remove the 8.2 and get an 8.5 for your car. The parts are much cheaper and you have more selection with the 8.5. You can get them from any 71-2 Cutlass/Skylark. You will be happier in the long run. If you really, really want to keep the 8.2, contact oPh or Monzaz here for help.
