Got mine today and went out testing right away. Ordered my G-Tech from here http://www.softwareandstuff.com/CES10539.html $34.99 including shipping, 6 days from out west. Here's my times: 0-60 best 5.9 sec 1/4 mile best 14.53 @ 98 MPH avg 14.65 @98 60-0 best 195 ft What's your times? It's going to take a couple hundred more ponies to get where I want to be but now I have a starting point. Does anyone have performance data for the 1970 GS350? Does anyone have performance data for the 1970 Skylark 350-4 and 350-2? Maybe someone here has a stock vehicle they can test? I'll send you the G-Tech to borrow if you want. It would be nice to know how much good my current mods did.
Mine usually runs 105/106 MPH and even went 107 once, course on the dragstrip it's a little shy of 100 MPH. I wouldn't trust it if I were you! By the way anyone want mine, haven't used it in two years or more. Dave Berry
Well you'll either have to come get it or pay the shipping which would be abouy $5 going USPS. OK with you? Of course accuracy of the unit is neither expressed or implied! If you want it PM me an address. Dave Berry
Hey dave, I have to wonder if there's a defect with your g-tech? A couple guys gave good reviews on this thread. http://v8buick.com/showthread.php?t=64005 Thats why I bought mine!
Andy Don't know, hey could even be operator error, but I don't mind telling you that she ran 106 on the G-Tech then first time at the strip 99.54 MPH. Dave Berry
Local guys running fast street cars are having good luck with their G-Techs. They run at Bristol on week nights and it is usually within 1/10 of a sec. on the quarter. However, I don't trust the MPH or HP numbers on mine. I think the quarter times are good.
