There are a lot of Poston intake discussions in past threads.

They are mostly worth weight savings. Not a lot of hp gains.

because they are pretty flat on top. it would make a good start for a supercharger manifold. got a price?

Not mine. A friend of a friend has a complete ‘71 350 For Sale with that on it and a crappy Edelbrock carb. What’s a fair price for the complete motor? Ran strong when pulled, grain of salt....

$200 for a good running engine is the max I would pay... $300 with alum intake

poston - i seem to recollect that the main concern with those was even fuel distribution . minimal if any gains over stock intake . but memory leads me to think back and maybe the infamous "1100 hp" 350 used that intake with a gutted plenum and carb spacer ??? maybe not !

Just like every sbb 350 high HP story here, inflated numbers because they thought they were in the eye 0f a typhoon when they were dynoing the engine! LOL:rolleyes:

They used a modified cast iron intake on the 1021 Hp engine... with a 4 inch spAcer.
