If there's anyone that has a Poston Ent. S-Divider for a 455 and you want to sell, please write me or call me @ (808) 292-3187
I understand this intake will allow me to use the dual snorkel air cleaner that I have for my 69 GS.
I also could use a console shifter from a 68 or 69 skylark if anyone wants to part with it. Been looking for a year or so, but always miss the thread by a day or so.
    Thanks- :beer
Can't wait to get this beast on the road and :3gears: !
    Aloha n Thanks!

Keep your stock intake. The Poston intake is worth its weight in scrap aluminum.

I have one. Haven't thought about selling it. What will you give me for it. I wonder what it would cost to ship.

    poston intake?

Jeff, what is so wrong with the Poston S-divider? Is it a better street manifold as opposed to a full race piece, or what?

Why Not Use The S-divider By Poston?

Just wanted to know from whoever can help me out what are the downfalls to using the s-divider intake by poston for my 455?
I don't have a factory cast intake anymore. I think all my extras went to the scrap heap and I have a TA Perf SP-1 on it right now, but wanted to use the s-divider to be able to use my GS dual snorkel a-cleaner.
Please let me know what the serious downside is to usinf the poston intake.
    Thanks n Aloha,

ive read post on here that say if you are gonna run a stock ram air set up you should run a edelbrock performer.i have an s divider, they are not that popular but still a lot lighter than a cast iron intake thats for sure.

I've heard they don't make much, if any, more HP than the stocker. Don't spend much money on one. :)

I have an S-Divider on my 455, and it runs just fine.

Well my 455 went one tenth faster with a Poston S/Divider and a ThermoQuad 850 CFM carb than it did with the B4B and a 800 CFM QuadraJet. Course the ThermoQuad was 50 CFM bigger but when I went to port match the Poston the manifold didn't even line up with the gasket. Poor casting!! Course it depends on the total engine combo. My opinion is if you have one use it, or give it to me and I'll use it. If you don't have one use the stock manifold and spend your money elsewhere, you'll probably get more bang for the buck on ignition or carb work. I think I'll put mine back on next spring and sell the B4B next spring. That's the kiss of death for the B4Bs, by the time I get around to selling they'll be worthless.
