Any one powder coated their front disc brake backing plates? I know this isn't how they were but I am doin' it my way. Any ideas on colors or effects? Can powder be done in anything that resembles gold cadmium? I am heading to coater tomorrow and curious. Thanks
I powdercoated mine with 'Almost chrome'. Looks like a semi-polished aluminum. I was going for a bare-metal look. There are some pics here: http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?t=155777 It's still shiny in the pictures, I expect it to oxidize somewhat with time into a more original look.
