Anyone here ever done any powder coating? I plan to buy a set up and start powder coating my own parts, just small stuff like brackets and things at first, atleast untill i can get my hands on the stuff to build a bigger oven. Some guy had plans on the internet how to build a large oven out of used electric oven parts, i figure it might be worth a try.......... dont tell my wife, she worries about the safety of the neighborhood. I dont know what they charge to powder coat parts but it has to be cheaper to do it yourself, and they sell a huge variety of colors these days. They even make a glow in the dark additive, although i cant figure out any parts i would want to glow, it still sounds kinda cool. If anyone knows anything about this stuff let me know, im not really into alot of chrome and spray paint aint my thing so i think this would be a pretty cool alternative.
