I added a booster to my 1967 GS400. Now the brakes are very touchy. Any suggestions as to where to look ? Rod to the booster from the pedal to long? Rod from booster to master cylinder to long?

Max Damage I'm working on it!

Did you change the master? If you just added the booster to a manual brake master, it WILL be too sensitive.

I Believe the bore of the master is a different size.

The manual master will not bolt onto a booster due to the rod being built into the back of the master.

So you've got "too much" power brakes now? If the rod was too long, I doubt you could bolt it on without significantly compressing the master. Measure the length of the rod that is sticking out and them measure the depth of the cup. That will tell you.

Not sure what size a manual master bore has, but power drum masters are 1". Maybe yours is 7/8"? They'll get less touchy if you turn the drums and the arc of the shoes don't match and contact the drum radius fully.
