Mine was leaking from front bottom large cap. I put a small punch in the hole on the side to force the c clip loose enough to remove it with screwdrivers and turned the wheel all the way to force out the cap.....I only loosened steering box from frame I didn't fully remove it.

The input seal on the Saginaw power steering box on my ‘67 Buick was leaking so recently repaired it. Do yourself a favor and go to YouTube and watch some videos. There are dozens of videos about rebuilding these boxes and they all include replacing the input seal. You will get some good tips on how to reset the preload to the same amount that it was before you disassembled it.

This is the videos I watched before rebuilding mine. Easy to understand

I did some things a little different. The biggest was reloading the ball bearings.
