I need some help with my power windows in my electra 4ht 1967.
i dont have any electricity to the doorpanel.
I have checkt the all the fueses in the fuesbox under the dash, but dont know if there is some relay to the PW??
If there is a relay to the PW , where can i find it??
Or do you have any other solution to my problem??
    thanks

Could be a broken power feed wire (red) to the master switch inside the rubber sleeve from the door pillar to the drivers door. The wire harness becomes brittle with age, and the constant flexing from opening and closing of the drivers door will eventually cause some or all of the wires to the master switch to fracture.
Test for power at the master switch and trace the circuit back to fuseblock.
The entire system must also have a good connection to ground.
Someone with a '67 schematic may be able to determine if there is a PW relay, and where it's located. :TU:

The Pink wire off the Radio Fuse feeds an Ignition Relay (under the dash somewhere - location unknown),
which provides power through the Red wire to the PW Master Switch when the key is in the ON, or ACC position.
You should be able to hear the relay click when the key is turned on, or off. :TU:

Are you certain the relay is shot? I'd try bypassing it first........like Rivman said, it's usually broken wires inside the door boots. I use a cotter pin to do that, just don't leave it in there in place of the relay. Also, the relay may need a good contact to ground in order to work.

    Hi nailheadina67...
Yes I am certain that the relay i broken.
I have try with my brothers relay from a oldsmobile, looks exact the same..and it works with his relay..
before that I bypassed the relay and that works to...
    and the ground is greate..

it is not easy to find this relay in sweden...

They are probably common to all GMs of that vintage with PWs - I'll check my spares, any part no. on case ? :TU:

    Hi Rivman...
no there is no number on the case.
I have heard that they are the same up to 1977, but i am not sure...
    thanks for your commitment :TU:
